To help increase interest and motivation to read and to attend school regularly, Movie Gallery will provide discounts and movie rental passes as incentives for attendance and academic achievement. They will also sponsor a "Monelison Week" during spring break and invite the community to donate school supplies for our students in need.

T.R.U. Inc.- Partners in Healthy Lifestyles
To aid in developing strong work ethics and related skills, T.R.U. Inc. and MMS will promote archery in the physical education program as an alternative to traditional game play encouraging awareness of archery as a life-long physical activity. Safety awareness via the eleven-step NASP guidelines in archery will be provided with leadership from trained experts. Help with funding resources and instruction will also be provided.
To teach students skills that will help them maintain focus, pay attention, and follow directions, Jay King's Karate Studio will provide classes to MMS during Physical Education and Health classes. Programs offered will be, ABCs of Success, Bully-Proof Workshop, Kidsafe, and Karate for Concentration. By sponsoring "Monelison Days", Jay King invites our students to visit his studio.
To increase motivation, interest in and time spent on reading as well as increasing student reading achievement, Barnes and Noble will provide discounts on book purchases, allow select middle school students to read aloud to younger children, and display the summer reading list during "Monelison Days" in late May. Staff will also enjoy a coffee and book discussion night, a way to support lifelong learning through reading.
To celebrate the ongoing effort of students and staff, Pizza Hut Italian Bistro will host a Monelison Middle School night with the proceeds benefiting our school. Many types of incentives and gifts will be issued throughout the year including five dinner prize drawings, certificates and lunch coupons for Students of the Week, welcome back lunch boxes, and free pizzas. Career awareness will also be provided through guest speakers and tours.
Essentials- Partners in Fitness
Together, we will work towards awareness and appreciation for fitness. Essentials will offer the MMS staff special discounts and opportunities for fitness and good health.
