Welcome

This is the home page of the Monelison Middle School Band in Amherst County, VA.  The MMS Bands consist of a 7th and 8th grade Concert Band, a 6th and 7th grade Beginning Band, a Pep Band, and the newly established Jazz Band.  We have participated in many concerts, contests, and festivals receiving ratings of Excellent and Superior.  The Beginning Band is open to any 6th or 7th grade student who would like to play a band instrument.  The Concert Band is open to any band student who has had at least one year of band.  The Pep Band and Jazz Band are audition-only ensembles.
