The eighth grade year at Monelison prepares students for the transition to high school. In all subjects the emphasis is placed on higher level and critical thinking, and developing independence. In addition to the core curriculum, three high school credit courses are offered: Algebra 1, French 1, Spanish 1 and World History 1. There are many opportunities for the students to show progress, and parents are notified twice during each nine week grading period with progress reports and report cards. Our goal is to help students reach their potential, and to become successful in meeting their goals.
